Chapter Outreach

The Association for Accounting Administration is structured as a network of local chapters throughout the country. In addition to sponsoring a National Symposium and other programs, AAA supports local chapters by helping them organize, by jointly sponsoring local programming and by providing financial resources, information and speakers to local groups.

Although it takes ten members in an area to receive an official charter, AAA encourages administrators to start local discussion groups to create a regular, frequent dialogue among administrators in a particular location. All chapters hold regularly scheduled programs and events and many are active participants in individual state societies, community groups and affiliated organizations.
